The Favorite Book Meme by Dante-D [link]

I love doing memes :D

So here goes, my favorite books...

1. The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton - Read this in eighth grade after a friend told me it was really good. Normally I don't really care for non fiction books but this book was amazing. It did make me cry haha, but the storyline and the characters were just so unforgettable and amazing. A story of friendship, family, finding a person's courage and true meaning of life, and love. My favorite book of all time, I highly recommend people to read it.

2. The Cirque Du Freak Series by Darren Shan - I couldn't pick just one book lol they are all so good! It's not a tale about a common vampire or someone that wants to be a vampire because their life sucks. These books are so different from the average teenage vampire novels, because they're different, they are amazing! Not the average story where the only important thing is to have a boyfriend, this story focuses on inner conflicts, facing consequences, forgetting but also trying to save the loved one's you've left behind. A wonderful series, beautifully written.

3. Wolf Tower by Tanith Lee - Love the series but this one is by far my favorite out of the rest. It focuses on a young girl that wants to be free from the captive life that she's living in. She learns of true love, heartbreak, happiness, and hope. Inspiring book, very well written.

4. City of Glass by Cassandra Clare - Mortal Instruments <3 I love the series but this book is my favorite out of the series so far. Full of twists, love, friendship, and adventure. The characters are amazing, even the bad guys are cool to me. Awesome book.

5. Gone by Michael Grant - I judged this book by the cover when I first saw it. I though, "Oh, someone they love dies and they're struggling to get through this tough time." Yeah... I was a little off. It's so interesting and a different apocalypse type story. Very good book.

6. A Clash of Kings by George R. R. Martin - I can't really pick a favorite out of A Song of Ice and Fire series, being I've only read A Clash of Kings and A Game of Thrones. But, oh well! I plan on reading the rest of the series and I might make another Favorite Book meme depending on how much I like the books. But so far A Clash of Kings is my favorite. Arya, Jon, Sansa, and Tyrion <333 Amazing world, amazing book, amazing characters.

7. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins - At first I was like "It's a book about people starving?" Lol no. I was off again XD A great book, wicked future and oh so sad. The series is amazing and I have to say my favorite is a tie between The Hunger Games and Catching Fire (Finnick <3 :D) but I put up the Hunger Games just because xD. Love the book, love most of the characters and the storyline.

8. Strange Angels by Lili St. Crow - My mom bought the book and I was like "that looks interesting." So she let me read it after she did and I loved it! So dark and cold and gloomy but very adventurous and interesting. As the series goes on, the books and the characters and the story get so complicated. This one though, is just so free and open. Graves is amazing :D I love this book.

9. The Book of Mordred by Vivian Vande Velde - Not your average King Arthur book. I grew up knowing the story, Mordred was evil all the time, but this book changed that. This book was about Mordred yet it kind of wasn't either, it was about three women that loved him even though his past was chaotic. Very nice story, a twist from the average tale of King Arthur.

10. Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare - This one was interesting, I like how it starts out then it becomes so wonderful. Love the characters and the new Victorian world that was created.
